From BusinessWeek | Google Inc.’s Nexus One phone is selling at a slower pace than the first iPhone, reaching about 135,000 units in the time it took Apple Inc. to sell 1 million, according to Flurry Inc. Google introduced the Nexus One in January, selling it through its Web site. U.S. consumers aren’t accustomed to buying phones that way, which may have hurt sales of the Nexus One, said Peter Farago, vice president of marketing at San Francisco-based Flurry.

Associated Press | Unbowed in its push into the lucrative U.S. defense market, Airbus said Monday it is aiming to sell about 210 of its much delayed A400M military airlifters to the United States.
The comments from Domingo Urena, chief of Airbus Military, come as parent company EADS still smarts from a move last week by U.S. partner Northrop Grumman Corp. to pull out of their combined bid for a massive $35 billion contract to build refueling tankers for the U.S. Air Force.
Northrop explained it didn’t think it could win, and EADS said it couldn’t bid alone. The move has all but ensured Chicago-based Boeing of victory — and prompted protests by French and EU leaders of alleged American protectionism.

Associated Press | Google Inc. will sell the online services of
other business software makers in an effort to fill its own product
gaps and persuade more companies to rely on applications piped over the
Internet.
The online store that was announced late Tuesday marks another step in
Google’s crusade to convert the world to “cloud computing,” the idea of
running applications in Web browsers instead of installing them on
individual hard drives. The information entered in the programs also is

Associated Press | Samsung and Panasonic will start selling 3-D TVs in U.S. stores this week. This inaugurates what all TV makers hope is the era of 3-D viewing in the living room.
Samsung Electronics Co. is announcing Tuesday that it is selling two 3-D sets, combined with the required glasses and 3-D Blu-ray players. The packages start at about $3,000. Panasonic Corp. has said it will sell its first 3-D set Wednesday.
For now there isn’t much 3-D programming to watch on these TVs. Samsung is including a 3-D copy of “Monsters vs. Aliens” on Blu-ray discs with its packages.

Associated Press | The much-anticipated iPad tablet computer from Apple Inc. will start
hitting U.S. store shelves on April 3, slightly later than originally
planned.
When Apple unveiled the touch-screen device Jan. 27, the company said
the first iPads would reach the market in “late March” worldwide, not
just in the U.S. Now international releases are planned for later in
April.
Investors shrugged off the delay and instead seemed reassured that the
tablet wouldn’t slip even later. On a day with a broader stock market
rally, Apple shares jumped $7.44, or 3.5 percent, to $218.15 in midday
trading, a record high.
