Tribune staff report | ServiceLive, a Sears Holdings subsidiary that lets consumers manage their home projects online, rolled out a free application of its service for iPhone.
The company’s Web site allows consumers to name a price for a project or solicit multiple bids for projects ranging from computer repairs to plumbing projects and provides access to local, background-checked professionals.
The Sears subsidiary, part of its New Services group, said mobile
applications and social plug-ins are crucial to the company’s success
and its Israel research and development team is working to release
mobile applications for Blackberry and Android smart phones soon.
