Netflix has deal to stream from CBS library

CBS Corp. struck a partnership with Netflix Inc. allowing the online video company to stream CBS library content, including television shows “Cheers,” “Frasier,” “The Andy Griffith Show” and “The Twilight Zone” to Netflix subscribers.

Terms of the two-year, nonexclusive agreement were not disclosed.

“This deal recognizes the increasing value of our content in today’s marketplace,” Scott Koondel, president of distribution, CBS Television Distribution, said in a statement. “More and more, people want to be able to access our programming on a wide variety of platforms.”
