40,000 drop-side cribs recalled

The Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled 82,000 Pottery barn cribs on the same day it has made strides to ban drop-side cribs.
Kids’ bracelets, rings in cadmium recall
The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of about 66,200 charm bracelets and 2,200 rings made in China given out by doctors and dentists, saying they contain high levels of cadmium.
The metal is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause health risks with long-term exposure. No injuries related to the products have been reported. Get the full story »
