Kevin Costner builds machine; BP comes

From ABC News | As part of its growing arsenal to fight the Gulf oil spill, BP has contracted with actor Kevin Costner and Ocean Therapy Solutions to uses their centrifuge machines that separate oil from the water.

    How ironic.
    The lead actor from “Waterworld” is teamed up with a company fouling the oceans.

    Finally a celebrity that actually DOES something impactful with his money, and doesn’t just blab politics. Give this guy a medal.
    If you do the math, 32 of these machines should at least be able to clean the water as fast as the oil is being leaked, theoretically cancelling out any further leakage. Once the leak is contained, they can move on to cleaning up the rest.
    This is awesome news.
