| If it seems like you’ve been inundated with online ads this year, you were.
U.S. Internet users received a record 1.1 trillion display ads during the year’s first quarter, a 15 percent increase versus a year ago, according to comScore’s Ad Metrix.
Facebook was the top online publisher for display ads during the
three-month period, with 176 billion display ad impressions. Meanwhile,
AT&T bested competitor Verizon as the top advertiser, with 26.3
billion impressions, versus Verizon’s 21.9 billion impressions.
Display ad spending totaled an estimated $2.7 billion during the
quarter.

This is news? No s#!t Sherlock. I wonder how much government money was spent on this study.
Facebook is an evil company that treats its users as nothing more than cattle to be milked of anything and everything of value. It comes as no surprise that they are the leading site for annoying ads.
