| One would think four free hours every weekday in Chicago Sun-Times columnist Richard Roeper’s schedule would be as hard to come by as unobtainium, the fictional mineral in the movie “Avatar.”
But Citadel Broadcasting’s WLS-AM 890 apparently has struck the mother lode, signing Roeper (pictured right) to a two-year deal as co-host of Roe Conn’s 2-to-6 p.m. Monday-through-Friday program, beginning April 12.

Shocking actually. Roeper has had some good interviews on Howard Stern’s show but 2 smart-***** on 1 show may be a bit much to take.
Roeper’s Ego = Roe’s OCD.
Does this mean that Bill Leff won’t be coming back? At least for a few weeks?
Seems like one week WLS doesn’t have the budget for any staff, and the next week they are hiring like crazy.

They have not hired any additional employees. Roe Conn lost a co-host several yeasr ago. They hired Cisco Coto, but switched him to 9:00am when they dumped a moron. They have a new traffic girl only because of losing the one they had.
“Dumped a moron?” Love the language you snarky snarks use. Hate anger hate anger hate anger. I hate everyone and I’m angry about everything. That about sum it up, jocko? Who elected you judge? Get a life and quit judging.
Frankly Roe Conn should be CANCELLED.
He never has anything serious to say. He thinks everything in life is a joke.
Big mistake in WLS AM 890 keeping him.
Roe and Roeper will be a hype machine drool fest. their opinions are so “suburban” and cliche!
