Gayle King show coming to 5,000 U.S. stations

announced a multi-year partnership to distribute The Gayle King Show, a
two-hour, daily radio talk program hosted by television personality
Gayle King, to be broadcast on Westwood One’s affiliate radio
stations. 

The partnership will include distribution of additional Harpo Radio
programming, including Gayle King Evening, a new, five-hour weeknight
entertainment program featuring music, guests and topical conversation.


Westwood One will also distribute a daily feature from Dr. Mehmet Oz, host of daytime television’s newest hit, The Dr. Oz Show, and a three-hour weekend program, with content from Gayle King, Dr. Oz and other Harpo Radio programs.  These programs will also be streamed on Westwood One’s affiliates’ Web sites.  

This agreement expands the distribution of The Gayle King Show, which is currently in its fourth year on Sirius XM Satellite Radio, to include Westwood One’s affiliate base of more than 5,000 radio stations.

    Gayle King’s ONLY talent in life was becoming friends with Oprah Winfrey. Minus that, Gayle is working at the post office.

    So is the Trib running Harpo press releases verbatim now, too? I though it was only DNC press releases?

    You people need to get a life and stop looking in such narrow spaces. Gayle King had a very prominent profile as a news anchor. Fortunate for her that Oprah saw a need in her enormus corporation wanted someone she could trust and utilized a well versed long time friend to assist her. I’m sure she’s earned the dollars that she’s made. Does that make the surgeon Dr. Oz a leach as well?
