United Airlines names SVP of corporate strategy

United Airlines said it appointed Rohit Philip as its senior
vice president of corporate strategy and business development, a new
post at the Chicago-based airline, effective immediately.


Philip, who has worked at United for almost 15 years, most recently
served as vice president of financial planning and analysis and has
held otyher positions in finance and Mileage Plus.

John Gebo, who joined United in 2000 and was managing director of
investment relations, will succeed Philip as vice president of
financial planning and analysis. United named Tyler Reddien, who came
to United in 2004, to Gebo’s position in investor relations.
