Tribune staff report | Sears Holdings Corp.announced it will franchise its Sears Auto Centers to automobile dealers.

The new Sears Auto Center franchise locations will provide the same
products and services for automobiles, light trucks and motorcycles
that are currently available at the nearly 850 company-owned Sears Auto
Centers.

That includes, tires, batteries, oil and fluid changes, wheels and other accessories.

The first franchised auto center will open at Coleman Auto Group in
East Windsor, New Jersey, in its shuttered Chyrsler dealership, later
this year.
